moolarben coal complex infrastructure
In 2019 – 2020, Stripes Engineering carried out a wide range of construction activities to facilitate a new water treatment plant at Moolarben Coal Complex. This infrastructure included the supply and installation of HDPE piping up to 710mm diameter, various valve types, fittings and flowmeters, trenching and structural supports for pipes, pumps and spools, earthworks and concrete works.
The mechanical infrastructure allowed for water supply to the treatment plant, as well as the transfer of treated water, waste water, and mine water from the treatment plant to various locations on the mine site.
Stripes also relocated and modified existing pipelines, as well as pressure tested pipelines to Australian Standards as part of the project scope. Full quality assurance with weld record sheets and ITP’s were provided to the client upon completion.
