In 2019-2020, Stripes Engineering Services was contracted to Outotec (now Metso:Outotec) to complete the construction of a paste backfill plant at the OZ Minerals Prominent Hill Mine. 

Stripes managed and completed the entire project, including detailed earthworks, concrete works, structural, mechanical, piping and electrical installation successfully with zero lost time incidents. The paste plant construction consisted of 900m³ of concrete and 70 tonnes of reinforcement for civil works, erection of belt filter building including cladding, multiple coveyors, radial stacker, paste mixer, numerous pumps, generators and tanks, electrical switch room, control room, all electrical, instrument and control components, HDPE piping and commissioning support.
